I have typed an entry three times and I lost it three times.
Going to try again tomorrow.
Now?
I am shaking an angry fist and going to make something for dinner.

Hello!

I finally sent out the Pay It Forward gifts. I am so sorry it took me a million years to send it but as you can tell from last entries and the lack of posting life at Casa de TheMan and Duchess has been crazy, sad, busy and just KRAZEE!

Few things that I have not shared:

My Mac is broken. We need to replace the back light which we will do after Christmas.

I lost my cell phone. I lost it at home. It was on vibrate. The power has died. Yeah that has been a bowl of cherries looking for it. Oatmeally's step-father gave me his Razr which is AWESOME. However I don't have my contacts which stinks on many levels.

The Man may be laid off in Feb. Don't EVEN get me started on the "bailout" which is NOT just for Detroit which is how some chuckleheads in congress is portraying it because guess what?!?! My husband does not work for any of the Big Three but if they close he is out of a job. THIS IS NOT MAKING ME HAPPY!!

So send prayers that The Man keeps his job and somehow the car companies stay open and this economy turns around. I didn't vote for the president elect but I am praying that he can somehow do something for this financial mess.

Ohhhh the troubles I have seen.......

Sorry about the bad and probably incorrect reference to a song but its been that type of day.
I had to call in because I could not leave the bathroom long enough to get to work.
I had to cancel a fun coffee date with friends because its been that type of day.
Oy

Hey we went to a wedding on Sunday and it was a blast. I now HEART Jewish weddings. There was singing, clapping, circle dancing and wine. What more could I ask for??

A Sad Day

K-Pooh brought to my attention that Estelle Getty who played Sophia on "G@lden Girls" passed away.

My heart is sad.

I loved watching that show on Saturday nights with my mom. G@lden Girls came on the same year my grandma died and Sophia was a lot like her. Of course my grandma wasn't Sicilian but she loved to tell stories about growing up on a farm and being the only girl in a family full of boys. During that half hour I could pretend that I still had my grandma. Now I feel like I lost another grandma.

Thank you for being a friend
Traveled down the road and back again
Your heart is true you're a pal and a confidant.

And if you threw a party
Invited everyone you ever knew
You would see the biggest gift would be from me
And the card attached would say thank you for being a friend.

Crazy times call for bullet points

My life and random thoughts

* My mom is not going to move until November (YAY)
* We are throwing my mom a surprise 60th b-day party this Saturday (STRESS)
* My supervisors last day is the 27th of this month (SAD)
* The Cousin is coming into town on the 27th (HAPPY)
* I haven't been able to get in touch with my dad this week (Wondering if everything is ok 'cause hell knows they wouldn't call me if it wasn't ok)
* Work is killing me. I have another two damn days of training next week after two days of damn training this week (HELP I AM DROWNING)
* I really want to be married right now. I just want my dirty laundry to live in one place (WAITING)
* I am nervous that The Man will have a heart attack when he sees all of my shoes and purses (HEE HEE)

Oye I have to round up the wedding posse and get them measured for the final time and shoes and hair oh hair that reminds me.
So I go to this salon and they have a WEDDING CONTRACT that they like their brides to sign since they have to basically close the salon for BIG weddings. No problem. I asked who wants their hair and make-up did (thank you Missy Elliot) and Scrapbook Girl, BunnyButt,K-Pooh and My Aunt all said yeah they would be interested. Oatmeally so does not have a choice and The Cousin will probably get her hair done too however not the point of this rant. Each one of them after saying yes asked how much. See smart wedding posse. I go back to the salon and they won't give me a straight answer. "It depends" on what? The number of people. I just gave you the number. Round and round and round.
By all that is good and holy I will get a straight answer!!
