R.I.P. Allie Cat 06-92 to 10-08

Allie was a rescued cat. The lady that we got her from "stole" her from people who kept her chained outside. We were at a cat show and my mom swore up and down that we were leaving without a cat. We walked down this aisle that had cats for sale and we stopped at this lady's booth because she had an interesting display. The lady was holding Allie and my mom was standing next to the her. Allie leaned over and placed her paw on my mom's arm and just looked at her.

We left with Allie.

Allie was a vocal cat and she was clumsy. My mom thought it was fitting when she read an article that said that animals tend to resemble their owners. Allie was my cat and I may be a bit talkative and yes I did break my ankle walking in Keds.

Whenever The Man would come over Allie would jump on his lap and fall asleep after flirting with him. She would lay on his chest purring loudly and rubbing her head on his goatee. She moved in with him before I did:-)

She loved sleeping on me and she would drape herself over my shoulder and just purr and play with my hair. She would hit the dog for just walking by her. She was the smallest of the furry children yet she was the boss!

She would sit on my lap and just stare at me when I was upset about something. If it was a cold night she would crawl into my pillow case to sleep.

She was a good cat and she was a loved cat.

We knew that she was not doing well these last few months and I knew this was coming but damn this really stinks.

I know what it's like losing one of your furry children. Big hugs and call me if you need anything!!!

I'm sincerely sorry for your loss. I'm glad she had such a warm and loving family while she was here.
