Few things that I have not shared:
My Mac is broken. We need to replace the back light which we will do after Christmas.
I lost my cell phone. I lost it at home. It was on vibrate. The power has died. Yeah that has been a bowl of cherries looking for it. Oatmeally's step-father gave me his Razr which is AWESOME. However I don't have my contacts which stinks on many levels.
The Man may be laid off in Feb. Don't EVEN get me started on the "bailout" which is NOT just for Detroit which is how some chuckleheads in congress is portraying it because guess what?!?! My husband does not work for any of the Big Three but if they close he is out of a job. THIS IS NOT MAKING ME HAPPY!!
So send prayers that The Man keeps his job and somehow the car companies stay open and this economy turns around. I didn't vote for the president elect but I am praying that he can somehow do something for this financial mess.

This time of year is so stressful, and living in Michigan does not help. My brother, an executive with GM lost his job (2 years of severence though) and moved to CT. I would love to follow. He has since had three better than ever job offers and is really better off. We just miss him and are sad there was not an opportunity for him here. Ann Arbor is a little recession proof since most work for the U or the Government. Still, if the auto companies fail, so will the funding for education, healthcare, etc. Just my two cents. Hang in there!
